Your storefront is probably failing accessibility, search and speed checks, and nobody has told you
Most storefront problems don’t announce themselves. A missing image description, low-contrast button text, a page title that doesn’t tell search engines anything or an image loading at five times the size it needs to be. Each one quietly costs customers, rankings or sales, and none of them shows up as an error.
The storeconnect-theme-review skill gives an AI agent a read-only health check for your StoreConnect storefront. It finds the problems, ranks them by severity and changes nothing.

Almost every website has accessibility failures, and the legal risk is rising
The odds aren’t in your favor. WebAIM’s 2026 analysis of the top one million home pages found 95.9% had detectable WCAG 2 failures, averaging 56.1 errors per page, with low-contrast text on 83.9% of pages1. Federal website accessibility lawsuit filings in the US reached 3,117 in 2025, up 27% on the prior year, according to Seyfarth Shaw data2.
Every one of those failures is also a customer who couldn’t finish what they came to do. The review skill checks your theme’s accessibility alongside layout integrity, so you see the issues before a customer or a complaint does.
Search problems hide in templates nobody looks at
Search is still the front door for most sites. BrightEdge research found organic search drove 53.3% of trackable website traffic across industries in its 2019 analysis3. Missing structured data, duplicate titles or broken layout markup can quietly shrink that share.
The skill reviews SEO and structured data, responsive images, caching, forms and translations, and it can run an optional content-completeness pass and a Lighthouse pass. Findings come back as a severity-ranked report with before-and-after code and the user-facing impact of each issue4, so the business can see what matters and the developers can see what to fix.
Slow pages lose sales you never see
Speed problems don’t produce complaints. They produce empty carts. Deloitte and Google’s research found a 0.1 second improvement in mobile site speed lifted retail conversions by 8.4%5. A review that finds oversized images and uncached fragments is finding revenue.
Because this skill is read-only by design, it’s the safest place to start using AI on a StoreConnect store. It changes nothing, which also makes it easy for a cautious team to approve.
