The selfish reason I love helping build StoreConnect

~ 1 min read · Mark Zammit

As I wrap up this series, I want to share the real reason I joined StoreConnect and why I am still so obsessed with what we are building.

It’s actually a bit selfish.

Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than watching a business launch something different, something that finally solves a problem they have been battling for years. I love seeing our customers break through those ‘glass ceilings’ and scale to a category they didn’t think was possible.

The most rewarding part of my job is when a customer calls me to show off something incredible they have built that I didn’t even know the product could do. That is the ultimate proof of power. When the people who build the tool are surprised by the creativity of the people using it, you know you have built something special.

What makes these innovations so satisfying is that they aren’t “janky hacks.” Usually, when a business tries to do something “outside the box” with their tech, it involves duct-taping three different systems together and crossing their fingers.

With StoreConnect, these cool tricks are properly integrated into the flow of the system. You can look at the output and it looks seamless, professional and native, even if there is some incredibly complex logic happening under the hood.

We did not build StoreConnect to be a static product; we built it to be a launchpad.

Our goal is to give you a foundation so solid and so flexible that you can stop worrying about what your software can’t do and start imagining what your business could be.

Thank you for following along with this series. I can’t wait to see what you build next!
