Salesforce's State of IT research found project requests to IT teams surged 18% year over year[^1], and MuleSoft's 2026 benchmark found an average of 26% of IT projects weren't delivered on time in the past 12 months[^2]. A new banner layout rarely wins that fight. With the theme skill, an AI agent can do the structural work well: override a base-theme template by its key, ship brand styles through the supported stylesheet or the store's custom styles, author custom content-block templates and set theme variables[^3].
