Gartner estimates poor data quality costs organizations an average of $12.9 million a year[^1], and Salesforce's State of IT research found 86% of IT leaders believe data quality makes or breaks AI effectiveness[^2]. An agent making the same wrong write a hundred times does a hundred times the damage. The skill covers exact object and field API names for StoreConnect's records, the required creation order, delete and cascade semantics and store scoping[^3]. It opens with a plain warning about blast radius: these operations write to a customer's production Salesforce org. ## Repeating a write because it isn't visible yet creates duplicates StoreConnect and Salesforce are connected by built-in sync. An agent that doesn't understand this may write a record, not see it on the storefront straight away and write it again. The skill teaches the agent to wait, re-read and never repeat a write merely because it isn't visible yet[^3]. That one rule prevents the duplicate records that take hours to find and merge later. ## Custom fields your template can't see become a support ticket A common request goes like this: "Show this custom Salesforce field on the product page." Without knowing how StoreConnect exposes Salesforce data to templates, an agent will reference the field directly and get nothing.
